Jeni Lynn's Bio

  A Los Angeles native, Jeni Lynn's first published work, a poem, ran in the Los Angeles Times. She was seven. It took a few more years to get paid for what she loved. 

In college, she wrote for the Los Angeles Daily News. Once she earned her B.A. in English, she moved on to several other papers. She covered topics ranging from aviation to custom doll houses, working features, business, general news, and, briefly, the police beat. 

Jeni then joined a national monthly computer magazine as assistant editor where she discovered her love of technology. After that, she moved to the Corporate Communications department of an international, information technology company. 

There she wrote about emerging technologies and their ability to transform industries ranging from transportation to utilities amidst challenges such as climate change and cyber threats. She also managed and wrote for the cybersecurity section of the corporation’s website.

Interviewing innovators, including NASA scientists and engineers, cemented her craving to write about space and the future. If she had been better in math, she would have applied to NASA’s astronaut program.

Today, she lives in Los Angeles with her family and rescue dogs. She has also turned to fiction, and writes futuristic romance. Her first novel, Bel-Air Confidential, will publish in Spring 2026.
